LYSI's Cod Liver Oil capsules are made from pure cod liver oil.  The oil is extracted from the livers of cod and is rich in vitamins A and D. Vitamins A and D are necessary to ensure the normal growth of teeth and bones and healthy eyesight.

Cod liver oil is a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, one of which is the fatty acid DHA which plays an important role in the development of the brain and central nervous system and has proven helpful for keeping our memory intact and even combating some forms of depression. Another fatty acid found in cod liver oil is EPA, which has been shown to play an important role in preventing heart disease.
