Oðalsostur - Oðals cheese. The Norwegian Jarlsberg cheese is the epitome of the ancestral cheese; the most famous cheese made by Norwegians since 1860. The Odal cheese is milder in taste with a hint of almonds. It is somewhat drier and sweeter than Jarlsberg.
